Return/Refund Policy

 

We are customer focused at Aviator Shades Online and will do everything in our power ensure that you are 100% satisfied with your purchase.  The following applies to the brands we sell.

SOS: 

All SOS Eyewear® products carry a 7 day money back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please e-mail us at,

for a refund authorization number. Be sure to include your order number along with your refund request. All returns must include the refund authorization number or they will be refused. Once you receive your refund authorization number, send the item to the address on the package.  Once we receive your item we will credit your credit card account for the amount of your purchase.

The product will be inspected upon receipt. All returns must be in resellable condition and all original packaging must be in place for full credit to be issued. No credit will be issued if the product shows signs of use. Guarantee does not cover accidental damage or wear of product caused by customer.

SOS Eyewear guarantees to deliver all products defective-free. Prior to shipping your order we conduct a quality inspection on all items against defects. Returns that lack original packaging material or products that show wear will be will be refused or are subject to a 25% restocking fee.


All other items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.  Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are your responsibility. Be sure to send your return merchandise via a traceable method (delivery conformation or insured mail). We are not responsible for return packages that are lost, stolen or damaged en route.

Bobster:

RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A 15% RESTOCKING FEE. Unused items in original condition may be returned for exchange or refund if an RMA Authorization Number is requested within 7 days of receipt of item. Item must then be returned within 30 days of original delivery date.

RMA Numbers are obtained by e-mailing support@aviatorshadeonline.net. Please include the order number and list items to be returned and reason. RMA Numbers will be sent via e-mail within 48 hours of request.

Used products WILL NOT be accepted for return or exchange. Items must be new with all original packaging also in new condition.

Upon receipt and inspection of the merchandise, your credit card will be credited for amount of the item returned. (Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.)
 

All returns must be shipped prepaid of origin, unless prior arrangements have been made. No COD returns will be accepted. New orders resulting from exchanges will be shipped upon receipt of returned merchandise unless other arrangements have been made with Bobster®. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges, both inbound and outbound. Returns should be sent attention: Bobster® Returns Department.

Gatorz:

LIMITED WARRANTY:

Gatorz Aluminum Eyewear will be warranted to the original purchaser for two full year from the date of purchase against any defect in materials or workmanship. Gatorz will repair or replace, at our option, any pair of Gatorz Aluminum Eyewear found to be defective. Gatorz limited warranty program does not apply to damage caused by improper use, normal wear, including lens scratching or accidental breakage. PRODUCT MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PROOF OF PURCHASE. All repairs will generally be completed within 2-3 working days and then returned via UPS Ground. International shipping rates will apply.

Please note: Gatorz Lifetime Rebuild Agreement does not apply to the following frame styles: Gatorz Lifetime Rebuild Agreement does not apply to the following frame styles: COMPETITOR, EDGE, ENVY, MATRIX, SAVANNAH, AVALON, VIPER, NOVA, SAPHRON.


LIFETIME REBUILD AGREEMENT:

This agreement applies to any Gatorz Aluminum Eyewear owner for the lifetime of your sunglasses. Gatorz will rebuild and precision tune each and every part of your sunglasses to the quality and standards that originally went into your Gatorz Aluminum Eyewear. If for any reason we cannot repair your sunglasses, we will replace them with a brand new pair at the rebuild cost. All repairs will generally be completed within 2-3 working days and then returned via UPS Ground. International shipping rates will apply.

The rebuild applies ONLY to the following Diamond Series Frame Styles: MAGNUM, RADIATOR, WRAPTOR, FUSION, VECTOR, ROCKSTAR, ELEMENT, DEMORA, CONVERTER, VELOCITY, QUANTUM, BOXSTER AND FURY ONLY.

Standard rebuild - $49.95 - Same Color Frame & Lens

Upgraded rebuild - $59.00 - one color change on lens color only.

Change frame style or color - $49.00 Credit towards a new frame at the suggested retail price.

What if I just want my lenses replaced?

A set of lenses and/or a lens replacement is $35.00 plus shipping and handling.

Do I have to send my sunglasses in to have the lenses replaced? Not required, but is strongly recommended to insure proper installation. Gatorz will not be liable if damage to lenses or frame if self installed.

How do I calculate the shipping for warranty service?

Warranty shipping & handling within the Continental U.S.A. - $9.00 for UPS Ground shipping. California warranty shipping & handling - $8.00. For Alaska, Hawaii & International rates WILL APPLY.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards; Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We accept money orders & cashier checks. Please do not send cash.

How long will it take to get my sunglasses back from repair?

From the time it is received, generally it will take 2-3 business days for us to process, repair, and ship your sunglasses back to you.

What type of shipping services do you use?

We use UPS. United States Postal Services (USPS) upon request only. Keep in mind, Gatorz is not responsible for any lost shipments by using USPS.

I lost my sunglasses; can I still get a rebuild?

No, unfortunately Gatorz cannot be responsible for lost or stolen sunglasses.

My lenses are cracking, is this covered under warranty?

Yes, Spider cracked lenses are considered a manufacturing defect and will be replaced under warranty for up to a year from the purchase date. If after evaluating, we find that they are not defective the cost for a set of lenses is $30.00 plus shipping and handling. If one lens is defective and the other lens is not, only the defective one will be covered under warranty.

Can I get my regular lenses replaced with Polarized lenses?

Unfortunately we cannot install polarized lenses in “non polar” frames. This means that the frames with polarized lenses are slightly different than those with regular polycarbonate lenses. This is because polarized lenses are slightly thicker therefore the frames are made specifically, to accommodate that.
